Purpose: Third Party certification of quality assurance systems in conformity with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 9002 or ISO 9003). AFAQ awarded SPIT certificate no. 1989/046 on 6.11.89 for its anchor fixing systems stating that the quality assurance systems 1989/046 used by SPIT conform to the standards NF EN 29002 ISO 9002 dated June 1994.
	cofrac ESSAIS Comité Français d'Accreditation Section Essais (Association Loi de 1901). Purpose: The Comité Français d'Accreditation Section Essais cenifies the quality of services provided by laboratories and testing organisations in conformity with international standard EN 45001 and guide ISO/CEI 25. The SPIT CEDRE anchor testing laboratory is approved under No. 1.0239 for programme 39.2 defined in the guarantee certificate.
	CERTIMECA CERTIMECA promotes quality standards in the IMTM (Association Loi de 1901 created by the FIMTM, technical centres and numerous mechanical industry associations). Purpose: To issue qualification certificates for products and services under the label "CERTIMECA" (and maintain French standards - CERTIMECA with AFNOR). SPIT has been awarded the CERTIMECA standards label for SPIT FIX anchors.
	AFNOR Association Française de Normalisation. Purpose: 1. - To prepare and publish standards, 2. - To manage the implementation of French standards (NF). Two standards have been prepared for metal anchors : NF E 27-815 - Dec 1988 (Pull out tests and interpretation of results), NF E 27-816 - Feb 1989 (reaction tests).
	SOCOTEC QUALITY DIVISION Quality assurance company. Purpose: Teams of inspectors advise on introduction, management and associated training in all aspects of quality assurance. SPIT is member no. 065 of the SOCOTEC Quality Association, Our Q.A. system is regularly audited by SOCOTEC.
	SOCOTEC TECHNICAL DIVISION The specifications and technical data sheets of our anchors are prepared in accordance with SOCOTEC requirements. They guarantee the performance and conformity of our anchor products. These documents are available on request. Most of the information published in this guide is taken from official documents accepted by SOCOTEC. The following products are accepted by SOCOTEC: SPIT SYSTEM FIXFORM, SPIT MEGA, SPIT MAXI EA, SPIT FIX, SPIT GRIP S and SI, SPIT SRD, SPIT EPCON SYSTEM, SPIT RING, SPIT HIT, SPIT NYLONG, SPIT ISO, SPIT ISOMET, SPIT SATELIS.
	EOTA European union for technical approval in the construction industry. EOTA has one institute in each country. The Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) is the EOTA representative in France, and The British Board of Agrement (BBA) is the representative for the UK, EOTA is empowered to issue technical reports on anchor fixing systems.
	B.S.I. British Standards Institute - Quality Assurance Purpose: To issue certificates to companies whose quality assurance systems satisfy the requirements of BS 5750. The SPIT Anchor Business Unit is registered (FM 1167). Our quality system conforms to the following standards BS 5750 - Part 2 - 1994, ISO 9002 - 1994, EN 29002 - 1994 and QAS 3137/7.
	F.M. Factory Mutual. Purpose: An American approval organisation for products used in fire fighting systems. SPIT has received approval for steel anchors from size M10 (3/8"). Example: SPIT GRIP, SPIT FIX, SPIT SRD.
	FMPA Forschungs und Materialprüfungsanstalt, BADEN - WÜRTTEMBERG - OTTO GRAF INSTITUT Purpose: This government institute for research and construction material testing is approved to test anchors. These tests form the basis for reports sent to the DIBT
	DIBT lnstitüt Für Bautechnik in Berlin Purpose: This German institute issues approval cedificates for products that have been successfully tested in an approved German laboratory (FMPA). SPIT has german approvals for the following products : SPIT SYSTEM FIXFORM, SPIT MAXI EA, SPIT FIX, SPIT SRD, SPIT GRIP S and SI, SPIT C-MIX.
	VdS Verband der Sachversicherer e.V. German approval for fixing systems used to support sprinkler systems.
	BOVERKET Swedish approval organisation. Purpose: This Swedish organisation issues approval certificates for products which have been successfully tested in a Swedish laboratory (STATENS PROVNINGSANSTALT).
	UNI Unificazione Nationale ltaliana. Purpose: 1. - To promote, prepare and publish Italian approvals (with the exception of electrical equipment). 2. - To inspect and update existing approvals. UNI is a member of ISO and CEN.
